George Forbis moved to Nashville in 1996 and was part of a group formed by former 4Runner member Billy Crittenden named Due South. George left the group in 1998 and pursued a solo artist and writing career writing at such publishing companies as Starstruck, EMI, and Acuff Rose. He has had the privilege of working with such artist as Brad Paisley, Garth Brooks, Marty Stewart, Michael W Smith, Amy Grant, and many more.
His songwriting stays true to traditional country music, blending smooth vocals and harmony. His songs “Sing Like George Straight”, “Don’t Miss This Moment”, “Just a Little Cloud” have enjoyed radio airplay across the south. He has and will continue to put to song the stories we all live and experience.
